Hi I will visiting in 3 weeks time. Am planning send a few hours in Cassis so that I can visit calanque en vau so am hoping someone can help me on the below:1. I understand there is parking area that is nearest to calanque en vau, from the carpark I only need to hike about 50 mins to go down but I would need about 1 hr 20mins for return. Can I check if the carpark name is Col de la Gordiale? If no, can someone advise me where is the nearest carpark?2. I tried to search for the location of Col de la Gordiale on google map but I can't seem to find the exact location. Can someone help me?3.

Me and my hubby are not very fit so was wondering if this is the easier hike we can take.4. If we take the easier hike would we still be able to see the pic below:Many thanks in advance. The trail is not especially difficult, although you will have to climb to a height of around 150m. You may stop along the way and I really advice to take a tour around the Cap En-Vau (the trail in black from the previous thread), you'll have breathtaking views. But be very careful and don't approach the edge of the cliffs!!! Like this man for instance. The most difficult part is a very steep descent towards En-Vau, but on the other hand the trail is well made and is more like a giant stairway.

I have seen children of 10-12 years old do it without much of a problem. And very important bring proper hiking shoes! The sneakers will be very dangerous.

The road is very narrow and twisty, so take your time. The parking is very full on weekends and the trail is well marked. This the easiest way in, but it can get hot so bring lots of water. The other way involving a descent from the plateau is demanding not so much going down, but definitely coming up and you need good hiking shoes.
